Reference Information 

The territory of the West Kazakhstan region is 15 133.9 thousand hectares.

As of November 1, 2017, according to the oblast, the total area of agricultural land was 6,607 thousand hectares (including: pastures - 5111.7 thousand hectares, arable lands 588.7 thousand hectares, deposits - 438.8 thousand hectares, hayfields - 411.2 thousands of hectares, perennial plantations - 1.8 thousand hectares, other land - 54.8 thousand hectares.).

Competitions for agricultural land

In the region for 2018 it was planned to conduct 14 tenders for granting land use rights for 94 agricultural land plots, an area of 65.5 thousand hectares. Of them:

In the Akzhaik District, 1 competitions for 10 land plots with a total area of 17,607 hectares (was held).

In the BokeyordaDistrict1 competitionfor 7 plots on an area of 5152 hectares(was held).

In the Burlin District1 competition for 4 plots on an area of 3141 hectares (was held).

In the Zhangala District – 1 competition  for 5 plots of 2500 hectares.

In the Zhanibek District – 1 competition for 18 plots on an area of 9489 hectares.

In the Zelenov District – 1 competition for 6 plots on an area of 2447.1 hectares.

In the Kaztalov District 1 competition on 10plots on an area of 9000 hectares.

In the Karatobe District – 2 competitions for 7 plots on an area of 4000 hectares (1 competition held).

In the Syrym District – 1 competition for 3 plots on an area of 2750 hectares (was held).

In the Taskala District – 2 competition for 12 plots on an area of 1820 hectares (1 competition held).

In the Terekta District – 1 competition on 6 plots on the area of 8195 hectares (was held).

In the Shyngyrlau District – 1 competitions on 6 plots on an area of 2744 hectares.

Thus, to date 7 competitions for 41 land plots with a total area of 34.6 thousand hectares were conducted. As a result of the competitions, 32 land plots were granted, with a total area of 25.5 thousand hectares.

In the BokeyordinskyDistrict1 competition is planned for 7 plots on an area of 5152 hectares.

In the Burlinsky District1 competition is planned for 4 plots on an area of 3192 hectares.

In the Zhangalinsky District – 5 competitions are planned for 5 plots of 2500 hectares.

In the Zhanibeksky District – 1 competition for 5 plots on an area of 3,500 hectares.

In the Zelenovsky District – 1 competition for 11 plots on an area of 4278,86 hectares.

In the Kaztalovsky District 1 competition on 9 plots on an area of 5700 hectares.

In the Karatobinsky District – 1 competition for 4 plots on an area of 2500 hectares.

In the Syrymsky District – 1 competition for 6 plots on an area of 4600 hectares.

In the Taskalinsky District – 2 competition for 9 plots on an area of 2160 hectares.

In the Terektinsky District – 1 competition on 21 plots on the area of 8195 hectares.

In the Shyngyrlausky District – 2 competitions on 6 plots on an area of 2,518 hectares.

In Uralsk – 1 competition for 3 plots on an area of 1181.7 hectares.

As of January 15, 2018, 12 competitions for 94 land plots with a total area of 51,6 hectares were conducted by local executive bodies of districts and the city of Uralsk. As a result of the competitions, 58 land plots were granted, with a total area of 29.5 thousand hectares.

As of November 1, 2016, according to the oblast, the total area of agricultural land amounted to 6225.4 thousand hectares (including: pastures – 4780.3 thousand hectares, arable land – 538.4 thousand hectares, deposits – 471.8 thousand hectares, hayfields – 380.0 thousand hectares, perennial plantations – 1.8 thousand hectares, other lands – 53.1 thousand hectares.).

Competitions for agricultural land
In the region, it is planned to hold tenders for granting land use rights to agricultural land. As of June 25, 2017 local executive bodies of the districts and the city of Uralsk in the current year planned to hold 30 competitions on 70 land plots, the total area of which is 42.7 thousand hectares. The competitions are scheduled for the 3rd and 4th quarters of this year.
